What made you choose to go on a Brave By Faith Travel Experience?

I love to travel and especially for Jesus! I’ve been on several mission trips throughout the world but never with a group of ladies I didn’t know, so I thought this would be great opportunity to serve the Lord and make new sisters in Christ! And boy, did God show out!! I came home with 12 new sisters and a crazy bond! #week3

What was your most defining moment during your Brave by Faith Experience?

My most defining moment for me in Cape Town aside from serving with the children, was climbing Lions Head Mountain. Their were several mountains I had to climb in that season of my life and I felt like during that climb God was reminding me that he moves mountains but in the valleys is where their is growth. In every hike, you cant rush because it’s long and enduring but as you take your time placing one foot in front of the other you notice things you may not have noticed before. That day God reminded me that he is with me on the mountain tops and in the valleys and not to rush the growth process. My faith was tested but my trust increased that day!

What does being Brave by Faith mean to you?

Brave by Faith to me means having the desire to fulfill your purpose in life and the faith to carry it out using the gifts and talents God has given you!
